Where I came from Not where I am

Fog didn't exactly come here from a normal birth like other ponies, rather they were hatched as a changeling would.
Thing is...the actual REAL story of changelings is that they replaced babies for their own.

You can kinda guess what happened here...
So where a normal baby foal would be is in a changeling nest and being raised there as well, and where a hatchling of this sort be in a normal pony home.
As much as their "adoptive" parents were baffled, they still took care to raise this one, and they found out how fog's type of changeling would be attached to their queen and how to remove it.
See as this one was hatching they were trying to attack their own adoptive family, however it had crashed into a wall and cracked their horn which didn't stop their use of magic but rather stopped the attachment to their queen and made them into a separate entity.
Although difficult it can be done even in nesting bugs!

They can still eat, sleep, breathe, all the same they just can't form into a group anymore and thus usually are left to starve *due to inability to find the resources others could in a group* or are even targeted as an enemy by their own group.

Within this story isn't 1 pony
rather this story contains 2 who met with something much different than their birth was to be.
